This year the Les Dames cookbook, Cooking with Les Dames d’Escoffier: At Home with the Women Who Shape the Way We Eat and Drink, was nominated as a finalist in the Compilations category of the 2009 IACP Cookbook Awards.

We are proud to have been nominated and would like to congratulate the winner: The Bon Appetit Fast Easy Fresh Cookbook by Barbara Fairchild.

“To be selected as a finalist from the over 400 cookbooks submitted to the International Association of Culinary Professionals is a great honor”, says Gary Luke, President of Sasquatch Books. “We’re so proud of you and your book! And our special congratulations go out to Marcella Rosene and Pat Mozersky”.

The book contains more than 100 recipes from Dames across North America, representing all 127 chapters. It was published by Sasquatch Books in October, 2008.
