Miami Chapter Project
The Miami Chapter’s Green Tables Committee uniquely communicates LDEI’s Green Tables farm-to-fork initiative, reaching Miami’s 100 members and the community beyond through:
• Maintaining Les Dames Edible Garden at Miami Beach Botanical Garden and conducting garden tours for the public and for K-12 students
• Presenting free monthly public seminars by Les Dames Miami on growing, cuisine and nutrition. LDEI founder Carol Brock has attended and approved of our innovative series
• Visits to local farms — including Dames-owned and operated ones — with lunches featuring just-picked produce
• Tastings of artisanal products like cheese, chocolate and bread, made by Dames!
