The Miami Chapter’s Green Tables Committee uniquely communicates LDEI’s Green Tables farm-to-fork initiative, reaching Miami’s 100 members and the community beyond through:

Maintaining Les Dames Edible Garden at Miami Beach Botanical Garden and conducting garden tours for the public and for K-12 students

Presenting free monthly public seminars by Les Dames Miami on growing, cuisine and nutrition. LDEI founder Carol Brock has attended and approved of our innovative series

Visits to local farms — including Dames-owned and operated ones — with lunches featuring just-picked produce

Tastings of artisanal products like cheese, chocolate and bread, made by Dames!
